Nicotine Addiction Feeds Off Negativity

The reason it is so hard to quit smoking is because nicotine makes sure you think negative thoughts.

It wants you to feel bad, it wants you to feel depressed, and it wants you to believe that, without a doubt, you won’t be able to make it through another moment without puffing away on that cancer stick.

This specific idea may not be a highly searched topic, but it is VERY important in your fight against smoking.

You absolutely must understand what’s going on in your head.

When you quit, nicotine will play tricks on your mind.

“Every thought manifested will likely be a crazy scenario to get you to relapse, and to justify smoking without even blinking once.”

It will make you forget all the reasons you quit and why you wanted to stop in the first place.

During those first few days, it’s easy to get upset, to feel depressed, to feel sorry for yourself, and to feel like the world is against you.

THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IT WANTS YOU TO THINK!

It WANTS you to feel depressed, it WANTS you to be down in the dumps, it WANTS you to be angry at life, and it WANTS you to be stressed out.

Why?

Because that is when you’ll most likely give in. That is when you’re vulnerable. That is when the cravings will strike the hardest, when you least expect it.

“It loves when all you think are negative thoughts.”

It’s easy to get caught up in them.

It’s also easy to forget the positive thoughts, of why you quit, what you’re looking forward to, the money you’ll save, and 100’s of other reasons, too.

Why won’t you remember the positive thoughts?

Because at the beginning of withdrawal, you’ll be in pain. You’ll be stressed out. You’ll be having anxiety. Everything that can go wrong WILL go wrong.

It wants you to believe that you are a complete failure without it.

But that doesn’t mean you can’t snap out of it and turn things around.

“If you catch yourself thinking only bad thoughts, stop what you’re doing, and change your mindset.”

When you’re thinking negative thoughts, you are inviting negative reactions. When you’re thinking positive thoughts, you are inviting positive reactions into your life.

Optimistic people are happier in their lives than pessimistic people, who do nothing but dwell on the horrible things in their life.

So when you finally put that last cigarette out for good, just remember to keep a positive mindset, because that nasty habit will be ruthless in its attempt to get you to give in.

It will stop at nothing until it is out of your system for good.

It does get easier over time, but those first few days are quite horrendous.

Expect to be upset and stressed out, but by changing your mindset, you can begin to see the big picture more clearly.

It’s simply the addiction talking, nothing else.

Yes, agreed. This is mega important. The mind is everything and if you are not completely humble to the fact that nicotine and cigarettes have a separate agenda of hell for you then you are in big trouble.

Yes, you are absolutely correct! They don’t care about anything other than getting you back to smoking.
